Now, I’ve heard that the average age a person realises their sexuality is 14. Funnily enough, that’s how old I was when I discovered girls. You don’t get to decide who other people are, or how they label themselves. To attempt to do so is to fundamentally disrespect another person’s autonomy; it’s telling them that their own wishes don’t matter, and that they belong in the little box you’ve designed for them.
