Hey, just some suggestions for the Queertionary. Looking forward to the next edition. :)
Demigirl: someone who doesn’t fully identify with the term ‘female,’ yet feels closer to ‘female’ than any other gender identity.
Demiguy: someone who doesn’t fully identify with the term ‘male,’ yet feels closer to ‘male’ than any other gender identity.
Genderfluid: having a gender identity that changes over...
justtakeitforgranted asked: Some thoughts for your queertionary – do what you will with them. I’d like to add to agender “not having a gender identity.” Also, drag is dressing up in any costume – the term is used to mean dressing as another gender, but it still technically just means wearing a costume. You may want to mention the negative past of the word ‘queer,’ and that although...

Call for Queertionary submissions:
Ask / Submit
As always, corrections, questions and revisions are welcome for the words I already have, and these are the words I would really like to add:
Boi
Genderfluid
Genderfuck
Pangender
Polygender
Third Gender
Two-Spirit
Hijra
It would be really great to get input from people who ID as one of these, and from other people who understand the identity. What’s the best way to...

Transgenders, genderqueers, agenders, bigenders,...
forever-a-pansexual:
Pansexuals got love for you.
I would point out, none of those are nouns, they’re adjectives… It should say transgender, genderqueer, agender, bigender and genderfluid people, and anyone else outside the gender binary.
Anonymous asked: I've heard butch as a descriptor for men or more commonly non-binary people
Anonymous asked: For the queertionary: Butch- someone who identifies as female but portrays a masculine look (muscular etc) example: most female bullies at schools on tv are butch. Femme- identifies as a man, feminine look (skinny jeans, v necks, not too muscular, maybe guyliner) Example: the "stereotypical gay guy" is usually rather femme. Or Brennando(.)tumblr(.)com is another example

Anonymous asked: Okay, so I've always said I was bi, but recently I've discovered that I'm actually quite attracted to FTM trans*people and FtAs. But for some reason MtF or MtA sends shivers down my spine.... I don't judge, but for some reason that bothers me. But more importantly, since I'm not bi, or pan, what am I?
To the submitter via email address: (TW: gender...
I’m sorry, I don’t feel comfortable posting your submission as it is.
You’ve kind of mixed up sex and gender, when you talk about being a girl or boy and genitals.
You’ve kind of mixed up gender presentation and gender, when you talk about suits and dresses.
Gender isn’t gender roles, either. And when you say that there’s no such thing as gender, and that...

piratesbeforeprincesses asked: Hey there! I have a question, two actually. I'm not familiar with gynromantic ( I apologize if I misspelled that) , could you explain that to me? And what are your preferred pronouns?

withersoever-deactivated2012012 asked: I think the Q in LGBTQ should be Queer AND Questioning. It's really powerful to be able to identify as a less rigid category, which is how I see Queer used, but it's also really powerful to be able to say, "I'm not sure how I identify, and that's okay." Both are incredibly necessary words for the queertionary.
Anonymous asked: Loving the Queertionary, though there's just one thing that I find a bit off- I identify as autosexual not because I'm attracted to myself, but because I find my desire for sex is satisfied by masturbation, and I really don't want to enter into a sexual relationship with anyone else.
sheepdean asked: The Q in LGBTQ is Queer/Questioning, as far as I know. You don't have a Female (gender) and your Woman definition claims than it's someone who IDs as Male. In addition, some of your definitions assume gender binary (homosexual for example). Intersex also should probably be expanded to be a sex in itself, not just "indeterminate".

“ladyboy” = “kathoey/katoey” among other names, although apparently that can also be considered a pejorative? not sure.
Right. Thai person here.
Erm, the term ‘kathoey’ is actually somewhat derogatory in Thailand itself, but as far as I know there is no preferable term right now. Sorry. I will use the term as a...

Pansexual girl here. Reblogging for the excellent response & explanation of non-binary genders ^^
Also, I think the Thai term is “kathoey”. (Source: an essay one of my Thai college-mates once wrote)

Thank you, doxian!

Being “pansexual,” is bullshit, in my opinion. You either like men or women or both. The most you can be is bisexual. The least you can be is asexual.
Sure, there are transgenders, transsexuals, and every other combination imaginable, but in the end every person identifies themselves one way or the other.
Actually, there are people who identify as genderqueer or...

I believe the Pan-rainbow Cat I have as my desktop...
philosophicalconfetti:
it’s perfect.
now I just have to find one that represents the darker side of me
What a lovely gif!
Description: Cartoon cat whose body stretches out in a rainbow shape, the colour of the pansexual pride flag. It’s just moving/dancing/bouncing and the mouth is moving.

and I know there’s a lot more out there that don’t have one
But I’m contemplating weither or not to make a pansexual problems blog.
Any ideas?
I love this idea! Looking forward to seeing it :)

christineleem asked: Hi :) If you like it, can you reblog my recent (Dec. 25th) post "NON-MONOSEXUAL PSA"? There's a blue & red bar graph at the beginning. It's about all of the different non-monosexual/multisexual sexual identities, what they mean, and the minimum number of genders and maximum number of genders one can be attracted to when using that identity. I was inspired to write it based...
Anonymous asked: Is there a panromantic flag? I've seen panromantic asexual flags, but not JUST panromantic flags.
flaitscraig asked: I have considered myself bisexual for four years now, but I've been questioning my sexuality for the past year. I've decided to call myself pancurious for the time being. Anyway, I'm romantically and sexually attracted to males, and romantically attracted to all other genders. What do you think my orientation could be? I was thinking demisexual, but I dunno...
freefromlimits asked: commenting on the post someone left concerning where to buy a flag, you may have a better chance simply creating the flag versus searching for one. google where can i create a flag and a few links will come up. maybe that'll be of some help.
jennytheemu asked: Do you know where I can buy a flag to represent Pansexuality. I can't find one myself :(
