No idea. Anyone know?

Hello! I'm very excited to have found this tumblr. I've recently settled on pansexual as the right label for my sexual orientation and it's great to find a blog dedicated to pansexuality :)
Hi! Awesome :) There are a few!

Attention All Queer-Identified College Students
I am a second-year student at Ohio State University. For one of my classes, I am conducting a survey and writing a paper to analyze the experiences of queer-identified college students. I seek to discover if there is a correlation between how “out” a student is about their identity and how accepting their peers are of that identity, and their cumulative GPA.
Neither the survey or paper will be published. The only people who will ever see it are me and my professor.
So, please, fill it out, reblog it, and share it with all your queer friends.Thank you!

*waves* Hello!
I am a 24 year old female pansexual. It has taken me what has felt like an eternity to accept this as a part of myself. It’s funny, but while I have always accepted people as they are, no matter their shape, colour, sexual orientation, dietary preferences, etc. But when it came to this part of myself, I struggled with accepting it. With getting to the “I’m okay” part of it all.
But, after all this time, I have recently accepted this. And it feels… Good.
When someone isn’t quite sure how to react when I tell them, I like to make a light joke about not discriminating when it comes to attraction and love. When you think about it, how could that ever be a bad thing? ;)
I just wanted to say to all those struggling with acceptance when it comes to themselves, just give yourself some time. Be patient with yourself. Because, something like this is big. It can be scary. But in the end, it should be a very positive thing. Never be ashamed of who you truly are inside, and never lie to yourself.
Because this is your life, and you only get to live it once.
Remember, you are not alone. And while I may not be an expert on anything, really, if you ever need to talk, message me! :)
I’ve been told that I’m a good listener.
Anyways, take care of yourselves and live the good life!

A few days in the life of a pansexual combined into one conversation.
Randomly the topic of sexuality comes up, either from referring to non heterosexuals or other things. Pansexual: I am a pansexual. Person X: What? So *chuckles* you love pans? Pansexual: No no no silly. Pan means all - like a Panorama you know? Person X: You will have sex with anything? Wow... Pansexual: Not really, no. It means we are capable of loving a person regardless of gender. Person X: So you mean a bisexual - because there is only men and women. This is where it gets messy.. Pansexual: First of all, bisexual is not limited to two genders. Person X: What are you on about? Do they do animals too or something? Pansexual: *beginning to lose hope* Second of all, it depends on how one identifies bisexuality. In most cases, it means that a person is attracted to more than one gender which does not necessarily mean two or specifically men/women. Person X: There are only two genders. Unless you consider hermaphrodites. Pansexual: Hermaphrodites is what you call an animal which has reproductive organs normally associated with both male and female sexes. Humans are intersex. Person X: You are not making sense. Are you wanting to have sex with everything or a bisexual? Pansexual: In my experience, I just never saw the sexual organs as a factor in deciding my mate/lover/etc. I can't even imagine it in the beginning - I just see a person; a soul. Person X: I am also just looking at the soul. Pansexual: That is definitely true. I do not wish to suggest otherwise but I meant more that gender doesn't factor in. Person X: ... Person X: Ok, so you are saying that bisexuals are attracted to men, women and - what was it again - intersex? Pansexual: That is possible. Person X: So it is actually a trisexual. And then what else does a pansexual fancy? Pansexual: Society throws this whole bi = two and therefore it is only two based on etymology of bi, which is denoted from logical thinking, however, the term is subjective. There are bisexuals that are attracted to two and there are those that are attracted to more. The point is, both bisexuals and pansexuals are non-monosexuals and seek love despite of gender in most cases. There are many gender representations. Person X: ... Like? Pansexual: Some people are genderless, intersex, some transgenders want to be called transgenders, however most do not. There are numerous gender identities, and non-monosexuals choose irregardless of gender. Person X: If you want the same as bisexuals according to your definition, then why not just call yourself bisexual? Pansexual: Just like radicalbi's wordpress demonstrates, bisexuality comes from a type of political thought based on sexual identity, pansexuality comes from a type of political thought based on gender identity. It feels limiting because in a world where heterosexuality is the most prominent sexuality, people are quick to say bi = two. In that world, the world most of us live in, it feels limiting as the definition. I do not have a problem with bisexuality at all, it is defined a bit more subjective amongst people than a term which states attraction to all genders. Person X: What's next then? No such thing as age, race, other things, what is stopping your from going on to animals or the like? Pansexual: In my case, I don't care as much about thing like physical age. You can be 25 years old and be mature beyond your years. Race hasn't been an issue either, but that is just me. Pansexuality has nothing to do with age, race, etc. That can be the case in any sexuality, that is evident. People are all different. Person X: Ok, I get that. But what about the animals? Pansexual: Not related to pansexuality. Person X: So you can love everyone and all at once?? Pansexual: Possible, but not related to pansexuality. Person X: Ok. -

if being 100% gay is playing for the other team then i’d like to imagine being pansexual as playing for every team. you just sort of run around between the in and outfields juggling the extra balls and sit a couple innings in the audience eating a hotdog and eventually everyone starts to question whether you even know how to play baseball or not
